Alex Smith – the DM of Goblins and Growlers’ podcast Quid Pro Roll – was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and has literally never lived anywhere else. She will frequently be seen on DMing panels with the GG crew, as she has been running games long enough to have a treasure trove of experiential horror stories. Alex specializes in world building, table management, NPC lore construction, and terrible character voices.
When not exasperatedly herding the cast of QPR through the plot, Alex is running Alpha Comics and Games with her best friend and co-owner, Bri. Alpha Comics is a comic and gaming shop dedicated to welcoming new fans into the world of comic books, role-playing games, card games, and more. They host regular workshops such as DND 101, MTG 101, and the ever-beloved Dungeon Masters Mastering Dungeons (DMMD): an event co-created with Gabriel Perez.
